Dental Crowns

There was a large amount of damage of the biting surfaces of these teeth as well as the incisal damage that you can see in these pictures. Full crowns were required to replace the missing tooth structure. Beautiful porcelain work by my master technician produced a light natural smile for this patient.

A serious case of wear! All the upper teeth and a number of the lower teeth were crowned. This allowed me to re-establish the patients’ vertical height that had been lost due to the extreme wear and to improve the patients function. The treatment went very smoothly and the patient was over the moon with the end result.

The patient wished to improve her smile but to keep her characteristic gap between her front teeth. When the existing crowns were replaced the proportion of width to length was improved to give a more natural look.

Many patients are looking for a smile improvement but for a natural result. In this instance we achieved a natural enhancement using porcelain crowns. A more masculine result is achieved by keeping the smile line relatively flat, especially in a patient who has a limited curve of his lower lip.
