At Aviva Cosmetic Dentistry, we are able to complete your new smile in just one day, thanks to our fully digital workflow and the advanced technology we have invested in.

Our practice is led by Dr Brindha Karthikeyan and Dr Karthikeyan Ponnusami, both of whom hold postgraduate qualifications in prosthodontics — the speciality dedicated to the design and restoration of teeth. That training sits behind every restoration we create, and it is what allows us to deliver same-day treatment without compromising on aesthetics, fit or longevity.

Using intraoral scanning, digital smile design, and both CEREC milling and SprintRay 3D printing, we can design, create and fit laboratory-standard veneers, crowns, onlays and bridges in a single visit — with no messy impressions, no temporaries, and no waiting weeks between appointments.

Every restoration is designed in-house to your individual facial and dental proportions, then produced on site the same day. The result is a beautifully natural, precision-fitting smile, delivered with the convenience of a single appointment.

This treatment involves our highly skilled clinicians crafting beautiful, aesthetic restorations right here in our practice, using two distinct in-house technologies: our CEREC milling unit and our SprintRay 3D printing system.

Our CEREC system mills restorations from a solid block of high-strength ceramic, producing exceptionally durable crowns, onlays and veneers with outstanding strength and longevity — ideal where biting forces are greatest.

Our SprintRay system takes a different approach, building the restoration layer by layer in a ceramic-reinforced resin. 3D printing has transformed what is possible in same-day dentistry, allowing remarkably fine detail, minimal material waste and a natural translucency that closely mimics real enamel. It is particularly well suited to cosmetic cases, trial smiles and thin, minimally invasive veneers.

Because both processes are entirely digital, there are no messy impressions and no distortion — simply a precise, accurate fit. Your clinician will select whichever route delivers the finest result for your individual case, and in many smile makeovers we use both.

Crowns are a strong solution for worn or damaged teeth, and the beautiful, hand-finished crowns our clinicians are able to create here at Aviva Cosmetic Dentistry in just one day provide our patients with a durable, long-lasting result that protects the tooth from further damage.

Using our advanced CEREC CAD/CAM milling technology and SprintRay 3D printing system, we can design, produce and then hand-finish your bespoke crown right here in our state-of-the-art dental practice — with no impressions, no temporary crown and no second appointment.

By using our digital equipment, we are able to deliver this treatment in a fast, accurate and predictable way — combining precision scanning, CEREC milling and SprintRay 3D printing to give our patients back their confident smiles… in just one day!

Cerec 3D

We love our Cerec 3D! This special piece of kit is where much of the Aviva magic happens. It fits perfectly with our ethos of always providing patients with the very best because it allows Dr Julian Caplan to design and create highly aesthetic, strong restorations right here in our practice.

We will begin by using our Primescan intraoral scanner, which allows us to take a digital impression. Not only is this highly accurate for us, it also means no more messy and uncomfortable impressions for you! Dr Julian Caplan then uses this scan, along with the Cerec software, to design your perfectly bespoke veneer, crown, inlay or onlay.

Just one hour later, your restoration will be ready to fit, allowing you to leave our practice having completed your treatment, with no need for any temporaries.
